He’s All That on Netflix: Addison Rae takes up makeover challenge

Netflix has released the trailer of its upcoming teen comedy movie ‘He’s All That’. The movie marks the debut of TikTok star Addison Rae.

‘He’s all That’ is a reimagination of the 1999 comedy ‘She’s All That’ with a gender swap. The plot follows an influencer who takes up a challenge to transform an unpopular classmate into a prom king.

The trailer introduces us to Padgett, a social media influencer who goes through heartbreak when her boyfriend cheats on her. Specialising in makeovers, she places a bet to transform Cameron Kweller, an antisocial and unpopular classmate. But things turn out to be more complicated than she expected when Cameron discovers her bet.

He’s all That has been helmed by Mark Waters, who previously directed Mean Girls. Apart from Rae, the movie stars Tanner Buchanan (Cobra Kai), Myra Molloy, Madison Pettis, Peyton Meyer, Isabella Crovetti, Annie Jacob, and Andrew Matarazzo.

Talking about her acting debut, Rae said in a statement: “I’m willing to prove how seriously I do take things. It’s something I’m willing to keep working at and hopefully really proving myself to these people.”

He’s All That drops on Netflix on 27 August.
