American TV show host Ellen DeGeneres is going to hit the screens once again with HBO Max’s new competition ‘Ellen’s Next Great Designer’. The show will premiere on April 22.
DeGeneres will judge the seven talented craftsmen. The participants will take part from studios in their respective home towns and Ellen will guide them online, owing to the pandemic. The designers will compete for a whopping amount of $100,000.
Television’s very own Scott Foley will play the host and judge along with designer Brigette Romanek and contemporary artist/designer Fernando Mastrangelo as the other judges.
First two episodes of the season 1 will release on the day of the premiere and others will follow weekly.
The official description of the show states:
“Ellen DeGeneres is granting seven of the most talented up-and-coming furniture designers in the country the opportunity to push their creativity to the limit. Ellen, along with co-host Scott Foley and judges Brigette Romanek and Fernando Mastrangelo, will decide which designer will walk away with the $100,000 prize”.
