While Aniston, Cox, Schwimmer, Kudrow and Perry chose the same picture and caption to make the announcement, LeBlanc chose a photo of the cast of MASH with the same caption as a joke.

As per reports, each cast member will receive a whopping $2.5 million for being part of the special. The shoot will take place on the comedy’s original soundstage at Stage 24 of the Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank.

All 10 seasons of the show along with the upcoming special will be available on HBO Max.

Kevin Reilly, Chief Content Officer of HBO Max stated:

“Guess you could call this ‘the one where they all got back together’ — we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends library.”

Ben Winston will direct the special and executively produce it alongside the shows’ original producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman and David Crane. All six cast members will also play executive producers for the special.
