The show itself has been nominated under the General Social Television and film category. Furthermore, YouTube extra exclusive footage for the show called Deep Cuts has been nominated in the Video Series & Channel Entertainment category.
Minaj was recently in the news for poking fun at Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the upcoming general elections in one of the episodes. It received mixed reactions from audiences as some found it to be biased and started a BoycottNetflix hashtag on twitter.

On the contrary, a section of the audience found it to be spot on and urged others to watch it before Netflix pulls it down.
