The upcoming situational comedy will revolve around a millennial couple and the various roadblocks they run into while planning their ‘dream wedding’.

The comedy/drama aims to show the other side of a seemingly perfect virtual wedding. We can expect to see the couple facing various problems which are often not shown or simply ignored. The show aims to relate to millennial audiences and their modern problems.

The lead roles will be played by Harshita Gaur, who is known for the ever-loved online shows Sacred Games and Mirzapur, and Naveen Kasturia, who starred as the protagonist in TVF’s Pitchers and Sulemani Keeda.

The trailer introduces the pair Roneet (Kasturia) and Avni (Gaur), a match seemingly made in heaven. They seem perfect for each other to everybody.

But one fine day, Avni puts forward her demand for a lavish wedding. Now, with the preparations taking a toll on the couple, other complications also begin to arise.

It’s revealed that Avni is getting married for the second time, a fact that doesn’t seem to go down too well with Roneet’s family.

Despite the struggles, the trailer hints at a fun-filled and comical affair.

Happily Ever After will be Gulati’s web directorial debut. Previously, the director has delivered various on-screen films such as ‘Jai Mummy Di’, ‘Best Girlfriend’ and ‘Second Hand’.

Supporting characters of the show will include various actors such as Priti Srivastav, Shivankit Singh Parihar and Sanjay Bhatia.

Happily Ever After is the latest in Zoom Studio’s lineup of original shows which include Mom & Co, Holiday and Imperfect among many others.
