Halle Berry to star in Netflix’s sci-fi film ‘Mothership’

Academy Award winner Halle Berry has been roped in by writer-director, Matthew Charman, for his upcoming movie, ‘The Mothership’. The original film will stream on Netflix.

In a recent press release, the streaming giant, in collaboration with media company MRC Film, revealed that Berry has joined hands with Chatman for the upcoming project.

The official description of the movie says:

“A sci-fi adventure that follows Sara Morse (Halle Berry) one year since her husband mysteriously vanished from their rural farm. When she discovers a strange, extraterrestrial object underneath their home, Sara and her kids embark on a race to find their husband, father and most importantly – the truth.”

The film is the directorial debut for Chatman and will be produced by Fred Berger and Brian Kavanaugh. It will be executively produced by Danny Stillman and Berry herself.
