One year after a successful pilot season, SonyLIV is set to come up with the second season of TVF’s ‘Gullak’. The show is set in Uttar Pradesh.
It tells the story of a simple family struggling to make ends meet. Just like the first season, this season will also feature every day struggles of a middle class family.
The teaser is a small glimpse inside new anecdotes of the Mishra family. ‘Gullak’ is known for breaking stereotypes about stories from North India, that generally revolve around crime.
It is a light-hearted show created by The Viral Fever, and stars Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and Harsh Mayar in pivotal roles. It is directed by Amit Raj Gupta who is also known for directing shows like ‘TVF Bachelors’ and ‘Operation MBBS’.
‘Gullak’ season 2 will start streaming from January 15.
