Zee5 announced the release of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s comedy film, Ghoomketu. It will premiere on Zee5 on 22 May.
Ghoomketu is a story of an aspiring writer from a small town, who has come to Mumbai to prove himself. As he struggles to make a name for himself in the film industry, he gives himself 30 days to achieve his goal.
He is determined to write a good story and the day-to-day activities inspire him immensely. However, a corrupt cop is searching for him and might succeed in putting an end to his 30-day mission.
Along with Siddiqui, well-known director Anurag Kashyap, Ila Arun, Raghubir Yadav, Swanand Kirkire and Ragini Khanna will also be seen in the film.
Apart from that, actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Chitrangada Singh, Lauren Gottlieb and filmmaker Nikhil Advani have made special appearances in the film.
Ghoomketu is written and directed by Pushpendra Nath Misra.
Siddiqui shared that the character he plays in the film is quirky, never-seen-before character. He further added:
Ghoomketu has a phenomenal storyline which will definitely entertain the audience. During this time of the lockdown, I am glad that a humorous film that the entire family can watch is being streamed on ZEE5.
