Friends Reunion starts filming next week: David Schwimmer

HBO Max’s Friends Reunion, featuring the original cast of the ‘Friends’ series, is set to begin shooting in the coming week. David Schwimmer recently disclosed the information in The Graham Norton Show.

The special, earlier announced to stream from May 2020, was postponed due to production shut-down after the Covid-19 outbreak. In a recent interaction with the BBC talk show host, the actor who played Ross Geller in ‘Friends’ confirmed that the shooting starts in Los Angeles next week.

Schwimmer also revealed that the Friends Reunion would be an unscripted show where the actors would not be playing any characters. He also hinted towards a specific segment where all the actors will read something.

The special episode will feature the main cast of the American sitcom series — Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer.

The 54-year-old actor conveyed that he is “going to see everyone next week for the first time in many years” and that he hasn’t “been able to catch up on the 236 episodes”, which he hopes to watch over the next five days.
