For Auld Lang Syne: Release date and trailer

Apple TV+ released the trailer of ‘For Auld Lang Syne’, a Holiday Special from ‘Peanuts’ comic strip that follows Charlie Brown trying to complete all his new year resolutions and the whole gang of ‘Peanuts’ urged to prepare for the New Year’s party being organised by Lucy. The Peanuts comic strip was created by American cartoonist Charles Schulz.

The Scots phrase, ‘Auld Lang Syne’ translates to ‘times long past’ that is used generally to cherish old memories and happy moments with dear friends.

This Peanuts special is produced by Wildbrain Studios. There is a bunch of holiday specials from the ‘Peanuts’ range offered by Apple TV+.

‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ is already available on the streamer while ‘It’s Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown’ will begin streaming on the Apple Tv+ Platform from December 3. ‘It’s Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown’ is a collection of short sketches that features members from the ‘Peanuts’ gang planning for their Christmas celebrations.

The trailer of ‘For Auld Lang Syne’ shows a sad Charlie Brown as he fails to complete any of his new year resolutions. Lucy is sad due to the absence of her grandparents. Lucy plans to throw a New Year’s Eve party with the help of all her mates. While not all works as planned, it is more lively and fun to have her best buddies around.
