First look revealed for Netflix drama film ‘The Good Nurse’

The first images of the biography drama film ‘The Good Nurse’ were released by Netflix recently. The film is set to release in the fall of 2022.

The film is based on true events as documented in the book ‘The Good Nurse: A True Story of Medicine, Madness, and Murder’ by Charles Graeber.

‘The Good Nurse’ follows a New Jersey nurse who suspects her colleague is hiding a dark secret. Chastain and Redmayne play nurses in a New Jersey hospital who quickly bond over single parenthood and their shared crazy job — until Chastain’s character becomes suspicious when her patients begin dying mysteriously. Ultimately, she risks her career, safety and life in order to uncover the truth. 

The real-life case that saw nurse Charles Cullen implicated in the deaths of hundreds of patients across New Jersey and Pennsylvania over the course of a decade and a half. He was only brought to justice when a brave colleague voiced her suspicions to the police. 

The film stars Oscar winners, Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne, alongside Nnamdi Asomugha, Noah Emmerich, Kim Dickens, Malik Yoba and Alix West Lefler.

It is written by Krysty Wilson-Cairns and directed by Tobias Lindholm.
