Netflix has renewed Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke starrer drama series ‘Firefly Lane’ for a second season.
The announcement came through YouTube video where the lead pair break the news:
The series is based on Kristin Hannah’s 2008 bestselling novel of the same name.
Firefly Lane was released in February this year and was watched by 49 million households within the first 28 days.
It revolves around Tully Hart (Heigl) and Kate Mularkey (Chalke), tracing the ups and downs of their friendship over 30 years.
There is no official release date currently for season 2.
