Apple TV+ has recently released the trailer for the sci-fi drama ‘Finch’ which stars Tom Hanks. The screenplay for the film was written by Craig Luck and Ivor Powell.

‘Finch’ is set to release on Apple TV+ on 5 November, 2021.

Synopsis
On a post-apocalyptic earth, a robot, built to protect the life of his creator’s beloved dog, learns about life, love, friendship and what it means to be human.

The film was originally titled ‘BIOS’ and was scheduled to be released by Universal Pictures on October 2, 2020. However, it encountered several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was ultimately sold to Apple TV+ and retitled to ‘Finch’ in May 2021.

Finch (Tom Hanks) is an inventor and one of the last remaining survivors of a solar flare that hit earth turning it into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. He invents a robot to take care of his dog in the event of his passing and the three of them are seen taking an epic cross country road trip to escape from a life threatening storm.
