Amazon Prime Video has announced the release date for its sports drama film ‘Toofaan’. It will stream on the platform from May 21.
Toofaan has been directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and stars Farhan Akhtar and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles.
Mehra and Akhtar have collaborated once again after the grand success of ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ .
Just like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Toofaan is also a sports drama and takes us along on the journey of National-level boxer, Shaurya Diwan (Akhtar).
It will also feature Paresh Rawal and Mirzapur’s Isha Talwar in pivotal roles.
The movie is produced by Excel Entertainment, founded by Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, in association with ROMP Pictures. The production house is also involved with Amazon’s yet-to-be-named web series which serves as Sonakshi Sinha’s digital debut.
The teaser of the movie will release on 12th March.
