In these challenging times, the importance of understanding the difference between what piece of information is credible and what is just a medium to create chaos is really crucial.
Flipkart, in order to support the United Nations battle against misinformation, has collaborated with Indian stand-up comedian Mallika Dua to put forward a show Fake or Not to help people differentiate between real and fake news.
Fake or Not will be about analysing news and its sources. The web series is scheduled to air on 6 July exclusively on the Flipkart app.
Dua took to Instagram to announce the same:
‘Verified’ is a UN initiative to combat the growing scourge of COVID-19 misinformation by increasing the volume and reach of trusted, accurate information.
