Spanish teen-drama ‘Elite’ renewed for season 4 by Netflix

Zeta Audiovisual’s fancy-Spanish high-school drama, Elite, has been renewed by Netflix for a fourth season.

Set in Las Encinas, the most elite school of Spain, the Original web-series will witness some major cast changes with Mina El Hammani, Danna Paola, Ester Expósito, Álvaro Rico, and Jorge López leaving the series for good.

However, Itzan Escamilla, Miguel Bernardeau, Arón Piper, Omar Ayuso, Claudia Salas and Georgina Amorós are confirmed to resume their enthralling roles.

Exciting news for the fourth instalment came after the heartbreaking departure of some cast members, as noted by Entertainment Weekly.

The cast took to twitter to break the news for the fourth season.

I wanted to tell you that we have got the scripts of season 4 and they look so good

The show, which revolves around the lives of three-working class students paving their ways at the elite high school through hard-work and scholarships, has received amazing responses since its inception in 2018, with 20 million views last year.

Las Encinas boarding school has proved to be a hotspot for all things drama, jealousy, crimes, class clashes and wealth for hit Spanish show Elite.

Netflix has been working some hit diverse contents such as Control Z, Money Heist and White Lines to keep the audience occupied and calm during this unprecedented pandemic.
