After the success of Churails, ZEE5 is gearing up for its next Pakistani original web series titled ‘Ek Jhoothi Love Story’, releasing on October 30.
Starring Bilal Abbas Khan and Madiha Imam, the web series narrates the tale of Sohail and Salma, as they search for love and an ideal match.
Ek Jhoothi Love Story has been directed by renowned filmmaker Mehreen Jabbar and written by Umera Ahmed, who also penned ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’.
Talking about the web series, Jabbar said:
“Ek Jhoothi Love Story is a beautiful narration of an imperfect family chasing perfections in this imperfect world. Written by Umera Ahmed, we hope the series takes viewers on a delightful journey making them reflect & introspect along the way.
“It’s a story that explores the bittersweet relationship that exists between family members which will be highly relatable to our viewers. It will stream on ZEE5 and that’s very exciting for us.”
Ahmed also shared her delight on working for the show:
“Ek Jhoothi Love Story is a very hearty, relatable and wholesome show that goes beyond a love story. This story reflects the simplicities of life, everyday households, family bonds and much more.

Ek Jhoothi Love Story is one five Pakistani web series recently announced by ZEE5.
