Dwayne Johnson announces wrap for Netflix’s ‘Red Notice’

Actor and producer, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, recently announced that the shooting for Netflix’s upcoming original, “Red Notice” has officially wrapped up. The film also features Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot.

Red Notice had previously been delayed for so many reasons, one of which was the pandemic. The “Jumanji: The Next Level” star took to Instagram and shared a picture with Thurber, in which, the duo sported face masks and maintained social distancing.

Johnson thanked his director, Rawson Thurber via an Instagram post saying:

“Thank you to my writer/director @rawsonthurber for being the quiet force behind this film.”

He also thanked producer Ted Sarandos and promised to deliver for him, adding:

“Thank you to my friend Ted Serandos for the trust, investment and support on this one. Appreciate the partnership and we’re gonna work very hard to deliver for you and the company.”

Earlier, Johnson had taken to Twitter to share a still from Red Notice.

The shooting for the film was halted in March due to the coronavirus induced shutdown of the entertainment industry.

Red Notice will release on Netflix in 2021.
