Disney+ Hotstar is all set to stream the English Premier League restart starting from June 17 following a three-month suspension.
Due to the onset of the coronavirus crisis, all football games were stopped back in March. Arsenal were supposed to play Manchester City before their manager, Mikel Arteta, tested positive for COVID-19 and the whole league was put on halt.
The streaming platform made the announcement with a bit of banter on Twitter:
The first day of the Premier League restart will feature the aforementioned Arsenal vs Manchester City match along with Aston Villa vs Sheffield United.
The players have already been training for weeks, with contact training resumed recently after all the clubs unanimously voted for it.
The race for fitness for players is on with the 92 games to be played within a six-week period.
