Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir starrer Pakistani web series ‘Dhoop Ki Deewar’ will release on ZEE5 on June 25, the platform has confirmed.
The trailer shows Vishal (Mir) and Sara (Aly), who both lose their fathers due to India-Pakistan war. While initially it’s all about how their families were destroyed, they are later united by their loss and grief. They soon begin to question how long the war will continue to divide these nations
In essence, it explores the lives of Indian and Pakistani families in the aftermath of losing someone to war.
Dhoop Ki Deewar has also been described as a “love-hate story based on the love-hate relationship between people of India and Pakistan” by writer Umera Ahmed.
Apart from Mir and Aly, the cast features Samiya Mumtaz, Samina Ahmed, Savera Nadeem and Manzar Sehbai, among others.
