The cast and crew of Netflix’s Delhi Crime came together from across the world for a virtual celebration via Zoom. The crew celebrated their Emmy win
The series recently brought home India’s first Emmy by bagging an award for Best Drama Series at International Emmy Awards 2020.
In the virtual meet organized, the cast expressed gratitude to one another and opened up in candid conversations while raising a salute to Madam-Sir Chhaya Sharma (Inspector General, NHRC), the inspiration behind the lead character, who joined in as well to celebrate with the team.
Written and directed by Richie Mehta, the series stars Shefali Shah, Rajesh Tailang, Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain, Vinod Sherawat, Mridul Sharma, Gopal Datt Tiwari, Gaurav Rana, Yashaswini Dayama, Jaya Bhattacharya, Anurag Arora and Sidharth Bhardwaj, among many others.
Delhi Crime’s recent Emmy win garnered a lot of appreciation for the team. The award was a great honour for Indian OTT entertainment platforms.
