Netflix’s first-ever German language original series got renewed for another season a while ago with the teaser for season 2 dropping yesterday.
Being compared to Stranger Things, Dark combines time travel, mystery and relationships.
Season 1 revolved around 4 families which were played by an extensive cast. The lives of Kahnwald, Nielsen, Doppler, and Tiedemann families get entwined with each other when suddenly children start disappearing under mysterious circumstances.
Viewers online are excited about the announcement with people taking to Twitter to express their happiness.

The German series’ first season was well received by critics and audiences with the spooky world receiving an approval rating of 88% on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8.6/10 on IMDB.
