Trailer

In 1971, D. B. Cooper walked into an airport with a briefcase holding explosives and bought a ticket for a plane that he later hijacked. When his demands for $200,000 and four parachutes were met, he exited the jet plane by jumping out in the middle of the night, leaving behind a mystery that has baffled people for decades.

Due to the originality of his plan and its dramatic execution style, the public revered the criminal. In 2016, the FBI put a stop to the investigation and disclosed all of its evidence to the public. To this day, little is known about D.B. Cooper, his identity is a puzzle yet to be cracked.

Over the years, various citizen sleuths have found clues about the outlaw’s identity, causing various suspects to emerge, some of which are presented in the series, including him being a Korean war veteran, a Boeing editor, a librarian and pilot who underwent gender reassignment surgery in 1969 and a former World War II paratrooper.
