‘Cowboy Bebop’ live-action Netflix series first look out

Netflix has provided the first look at the ‘Cowboy Bebop’ live-action series which will be a recreation of the beloved anime. The streaming platform also announced that the series will be premiering on November 19.

The images released showcase the three main leads and their signature looks. John Cho as ‘Spike Spiegel’, Mustafa Shakir as ‘Jet Black’ and Daniella Pineda as ‘Faye Valentine’.

Cho is dressed in Spikes’ classic blue and yellow outfit, while Jet’s metal prosthetics are also on full display. There’s also a shot of ‘Ein’ the corgi, another prominent member of the crew.

Cowboy Bebop is the story of a ragtag group of bounty hunters chasing down the galaxy’s most dangerous criminals, as long as they are getting paid for it. The soundtrack will be created by Yoko Kanno, the composer behind the soundtrack for the original anime.

The series is set to be developed by André Nemec, written by Christopher Yost, and also stars Alex Hassell, Elena Satine, Tamara Tunie and Rachel House.
