The trailer for ‘Confessions of an Invisible Girl’ was recently released by Netflix. The teen comedy is set in Brazil and stars Klara Castanho in the lead role. The film is directed by Bruno Garotti and will be premiering on 22 September.

Tetê is an awkward teenager who has to adjust to life in a new school after her parents move in with her grandparents. She has to go through all the trials and tribulations that come with being the new girl. Confessions of an Invisible Girl is about her journey through high school, experiencing all the things most kids do in that time of their lives.

The trailer shows her facing a bully in the form of the popular girl, Valentina (Júlia Gomes) and bonding with fellow oddballs Davi (Gabriel Lima) and Zeca (Marcus Bessa). She is also seen developing possible crushes on her school heartthrobs Erick (Lucca Picon) and Dudu (Caio Cabral). She will try everything to fit in with her new friends and finally achieve a sense of belonging.

Apart from directing, Garotti is also responsible for writing the script along with Thalita Rebouças, Flávia Lins e Silva and Christiana Oliveira.

The film is based on the bestselling novel ‘Confissões de uma garota excluída, mal-amada e (um pouco) dramática’, written by Rebouças. The production is by Mara Lobão and Rodrigo Montenegro, with executive production by Vanessa Jardim and Augusto Medeiros.
