One of the incidents shown in the series is the shocking Norrmalmstorg robbery which happened in Stockholm, Sweden, back in 1973. Charmed by their captors, the hostages chose to side with them instead of the police.

Based on the crimes, sex, truth and lies of Clark Olofsson, the series presents a detailed compilation of his life experiences, ranging from his initial robberies to the famous ones such as the Norrmalmstorg robbery and examines the extent of the influence of his abusive childhood.
