Chrissy’s Court: Quibi renews courtroom comedy for season 2

Quibi has shown faith in a courtroom reality show called Chrissy’s Court by fueling it for a second run on its platform.

Chrissy Teigen reigns supreme as an honorary judge over small claims court, while her mother, Pepper Thai, maintains order in the courtroom as the bailiff.

The show’s first season premiered on 6 April 2020 but it’s rating, which is 4.1/ 10 on IMDB, suggested that the show failed to have the desired impact on its viewers.

Teigen commented on the news:

The verdict is in!!! Since there is no shortage of petty disagreements to judge, we’re back for a second season!!

The show has been produced by Teigen’s Suit & Thai Productions, 3 Arts Entertainment and Alfred Street Industries, the production company founded by Project Runway producers Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz. Teigen, Luke Dillon, Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Dan Volpe, and Mason Steinberg act as executive producers.

Chrissy’s Court is the latest reality series to be renewed for a second season on Quibi jining Dishmantled, Punk’d and Singled Out.

The reality show is now accepting new cases. Check out the trailer for season one:
