The Viral Fever along with MX Player has created amazing web series in the past like The Insiders, FLAMES and Immature. This time, they are back with another unique and heart touching story with Cheesecake.
The trailer was released on MX Player’s YouTube channel and is receiving positive feedback in the comments. The show stars Jitendra Kumar and Akanksha Thakur as Neel and Sameera respectively, A married couple who bicker all the time.
Their souring relationship takes a sudden turn when after a drunk night, Sameera brings home a Golden Retriever and names him Cheesecake. The trailer shows gradual changes the couple goes through because of the dog and the importance of a furry friend in life.
The trailer is full of ‘Pawsitive’ vibes and the dog playing Cheesecake is adorable to say the least. The show also stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Ashwini Kalsekar, Kumar Varun and, Chandan Roy.
Directed by Palash Vaswani, the official synopsis for the series reads: “Sometimes happiness knocks your door when you’re least expecting it. That’s exactly what happens with Neel and Sameera, when one mundane day an unwanted guest- a big ol’ golden retriever, accidentally enters their home and turns their life around in ways more than one.
“The story of cheesecake revolves around how the unconditional love of a pet plays a key role in bringing the couple closer and helping them find happiness in each other’s company.”
The series is set to start streaming on 29 November on MX Player and TVF Play. Check out the trailer below:
