‘Cheer’ is a Netflix docu-series chronicling the lives of the members of the Navarro college cheerleading team from Corsicana, Texas and their coach, Monica Aldama as they aim to become the national cheerleading champions.

There is a two-year gap between both seasons as production for season 2 began in January 2020 but was shut down by March due to the COVID-19 pandemic the subsequent cancellation of the NCAA National Championship for that year.
