MX Player has released the trailer for tech crime thriller ‘Chakravyuh – An Inspector Virkar Crime Thriller’. The web series is set to stream from 12 March.
‘Chakravyuh’ stars Prateik Babbar as Inspector Virkar, who sets out to find a hacker cum blackmailer. The narrative begins with the murder of a college student, followed by the investigation of tech-savvy dark web users with a record for extortion.
‘Chakravyuh’ is directed by Sajit Warrier and written by Karan Shah and Chaitanya Chopra. The web series is adapted from Piyush Jha’s novel ‘Anti-Social Network’.
The official description reads: “As the case grows murkier, Virkar finds himself out of his depth, chasing a killer who always seems to be one step ahead.”
The series is set to have eight episodes. The key cast includes Ashish Vidyarthi, Shiv Panditt, Gopal Datt, Ruhi Singh and Karan Raj.
