Netflix has released the official trailer of Italian summer romance Caught by a Wave, which will hit the platform on March 25.
Set in Sicily, the movie portrays the young love that blooms between the protagonists Sara (Elvira Camarrone) and Lorenzo (Roberto Christian).
Their love has to deal with heartbreaking obstacles, eventually. The truth of Sara’s life forces the two youngsters to grow up quickly to deal with the harsh reality.
Originally called Sulla Stessa Onda, the film marks the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Massimiliano Camaiti. It also features Vincenzo Amato, Donatella Finocchiaro, Corrado Invernizzi, and Manuela Ventura.
The official description of the movie states:
“A summer fling born under the Sicilian sun quickly develops into a heartbreaking love story that forces a boy and girl to grow up too quickly”.
It is originally in Italian but is available with English subtitles.
