ALTBalaji, via its Twitter handle, has unveiled the lead pair for the third season of its romantic web series, “Broken But Beautiful”. The Ekta Kapoor run show will star Sidharth Shukla as Agastya and newcomer Sonia Rathee as Rumi.
The first two seasons of Broken But Beautiful narrated the story of Veer and Sameera, who were played by Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi respectively. However, post the second season it was revealed that the next outing will see the focus shift towards a new pair which was kept under wraps, until now.
The official description for season 3 reads:
“Every end leads to a new beginning! Meet Rumi & Agastya, the broken hearts that will mend us all with their beautiful love story.”
The cast introduction video also revealed that the filming for the third season is set to begin soon, therefore, it may be a while before it sees the light of day on ALTBalaji and ZEE5.
