Boba Fett to make an appearance in The Mandalorian season 2

Well known bounty hunter character, Boba Fett, is set to make his way back into the Star Wars universe with the second season of The Mandalorian.

He will be portrayed by New Zealand actor Temuera Morrison who played Boba’s father, Jango Fett, and his clones in the prequel trilogy. Boba Fett was seen in the original trilogy as the bounty hunter who delivers Han Solo from Darth Vader to Jabba the Hutt to claim the price on Solo’s head.

He was presumed dead when he fell into the Sarlacc Pit on Tatooine in Star Wars Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. It will be interesting to see ‘Mando’ and baby Yoda face off against Boba Fett in the new season.

This information has been revealed by sources closely associated with the series but has not been confirmed by Disney till now. The news was first published by The Hollywood Reporter.

The Mandalorian season 2 was among those few shows and films which finished filming right before the world went into lock-down because of the coronavirus. It still has to go through post-production and is slated to release in October on Disney+.
