‘Big Mouth’ and spin-off ‘Human Resources’ renewed by Netflix

Netflix has announced the renewal of the adult animated series ‘Big Mouth’, as well as its spin-off show ‘Human Resources’.

Big Mouth, which has won several awards, including Primetime Emmys, will be airing its seventh season, with season 6 set to premiere later this year. Human Resources, which debuted in March this year, will get a second season.

An edgy series, Big Mouth comes from real-life best friends Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg and is based on the daunting aspects of teenage puberty.

Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Ayo Edebiri and Jessi Klein are the series regulars.

On the other hand, Human Resources follows the lives of creatures; Hormone Monsters, Depression Kitties, Shame Wizards, among more, who provide assistance to humans as they traverse puberty, adulthood and twilight years.

The series regulars are Nick Kroll (Maury the Hormone Monster), Maya Rudolph (Connie the Hormone Monstress), Aidy Bryant (Emmy the Lovebug), Randall Park (Pete the Logic Rock), Keke Palmer (Rochelle the Lovebug), Brandon Kyle Goodman (Walter the Lovebug), and  David Thewlis (The Shame Wizard).
