The official teaser for ‘Baarwan Khiladi’ is out now. The web series is the first venture of Mahira Khan’s production house, Soul Fry Films and will release on the OTT platform, Tapmad TV.
Baarwan Khiladi features Danyal Zafar, YouTuber Shahveer Jafry, content creator Khaqan Shahnawaz, Zarrar Khan, Meer Yousuf, Kinza Hashmi, Sarmad Khoosat, Mira Sethi and others.
Directed by Adnan Sarwar, the project is co-produced by Nina Kashif and executively produced by Tapmad TV. The web series is written by Shahid Dogar.
After the teaser release, there’s not a lot to confirm about the story line. But, the narrative revolves around a cricket team, the Shaheen Eleven and points to the show being an intense sports drama. The release date has not been revealed yet.
Speaking about the project, Mahira Khan shared:
“A coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of the OG of all games — cricket. A story about friendships, relationships, unity, failure, success, love and courage”.
According to the reports, Kinza Hashmi is the only female cast member and Danyal Zafar will play the lead character.
