‘Atypical’ season 4 set to stream on Netflix in July

‘Atypical’, a dramedy series is set to return on Netflix with its fourth and final season on July 9. Netflix confirmed this announcement along with a premiere date and first-look photos featuring Keir Gilchrist as Sam Gardner and Brigette Lundy-Paine as Sam’s sister, Casey.

‘Atypical’ is a coming-of-age drama from Sony Pictures Television that is produced for Netflix. It follows Sam, a 19-year-old autistic boy, as he strives for love and freedom.

While Sam goes on his hilarious and poignant journey of self-discovery, the rest of his family must deal with change in their own lives as they wrestle with the series’ recurring fundamental theme — What does it mean to be normal?

Keir Gilchrist, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Amy Okuda, Nik Dodani, Jenna Boyd, Graham Rodgers, Fivel Stewart and Michael Rapaport star in the series.

It was developed, written, and executive produced by Robia Rashid with Mary Rohlich and Seth Gordon.

Season 3 finished with the Gardners on increasingly shaky ground. Sam and Zahid reconciled, and in the next season, they are shown moving in together. On the other hand, Casey and her friendship with Izzie, as well as her track career, must be prioritized.

Season 4, which is scheduled to cover these events, must finally settle the question of whether Doug and Elsa will reunite.
