Netflix has released a teaser for animated series ‘Arcane’, based on video-game League of Legends. Produced by Riot Games and Fortiche Production, the show is set to release in the fall of 2021.
The official synopsis says: “From the creators of League of Legends comes a new animated series, Arcane. Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will tear them apart.”
“League of Legends has inspired global fervor and fandom and we’re thrilled to be the home of the first television series set in this universe”: said Dominique Bazay, Netflix’s director for original animation.
