Apple TV+’s ‘Foundation’ promises epic galactic saga

Apple TV+ has dropped the second official teaser of its upcoming American science fiction series ‘Foundation’ that premiers on the platform on September 24.

The epic drama adaptation, of the acclaimed novels by Isaac Asimov, explores the mammoth struggles of a group of exiles who undertake a Herculean journey to save their legacy and rebuild humanity after the destruction of the Galactic Empire.

The ‘Foundation’ teaser showcases a visual spectacle with searing, galvanic drama, elaborate setting, and marvellous, dreamy sequences, like of a baby floating in a tank as if inside a womb.

‘Foundation’ stars Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, and more.

The teaser put spotlight on Kubbra Sait who makes her hollywood debut as one of the revolutionaries Phara in ‘Foundation’, sending her fans on twitter into a tizzy. Expressing her elation while sharing the video, she stated that the series is meant for the posterity.

David S. Goyer acts as the executive producer and showrunner of the ambitious sci-fi saga. He, while explaining the adaptation, asserted that Asimov’s prophetic science-fiction work has never been more relevant than it is now.

As per him, the broader landscape of streaming and a valuable partnership with Apple and Skydance, helped him bring the mind blowing epic to the screen in a way that truly does it justice.

The first season of ‘Foundation’ will have ten episodes, out of which the first three will stream at launch, followed by one episode every Friday.
