Apple TV+ holds premiere for ‘Servant’ season 4

Apple TV+ held a premiere for the fourth season of its psychological-horror series by M. Night Shyamalan, ‘Servant’, ahead of its January 13 release. The event was held at the Walter Reade Theater in New York.

The attendees included Shyamalan, alongside the cast, featuring Lauren Ambrose, Nell Tiger Free, Rupert Grint, Tony Revolori, Boris McGiver, Barbara Kingsley, and Mathilde DeHaye.

‘Servant’ follows a couple, Dorothy and Sean Turner, mourning the loss of their 13-week-old son, Jericho. After the former suffers a psychotic break, they decide to go ahead with transitory object therapy using a lifelike reborn doll.

Dorothy starts treating the doll as her real child and hires a nanny, Leanne. Unfortunately, this step also causes a powerful supernatural force to infiltrate their home.

According to the official description:

“Season four will bring the final chapter of the Turner story to an epic and emotional conclusion. Leanne’s war with the Church of Lesser Saints heightens, threatening Spruce Street, the city of Philadelphia, and beyond.

“Meanwhile, the shattered Turner family must not only confront the increasing threat of Leanne but the certain reality that Dorothy is waking up. As the Turner family brownstone continues to crumble, questions are finally answered: Who is Leanne Grayson, and who is the child in their home?”

Alongside Shyamalan, the directors for ‘Servant’ season 4 include Ishana Night Shyamalan, Carlo Mirabella-Davis, Dylan Holmes Williams, Celine Held and Logan George, Kitty Green, Nimrod Antal, and Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala.

It has been written by Ishana Night Shyamalan, Alyssa Clark, Laura Marks, Devin Conroy, Henry Chaisson, Amy Louise Johnson, and Kara Lee Corthon.
