Apple TV’s ‘WeCrashed’ to star Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto

Following the ambit of one of the world’s most valuable start-ups WeWork, Apple TV announced its upcoming web series WeCrashed.

It will be a limited series featuring  Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto in the lead. The web series will reportedly work on the lines of Wondery podcast named, “WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork.”

WeWork gained a lot of controversial attention in the media in 2019. The start-up provided cleverly designed office spaces and gained a valuation of about $50 billion. However, inevitable circumstances led to a massive fall in the valuation of the company and co-founder Neumann was fired.

‘The Office’ fame Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello will co-write, executive produce and will also serve as the showrunner of the web series.

Apple released the statement saying:

“WeCrashed’ will follow the greed-filled rise and inevitable fall of WeWork, one of the world’s most valuable startups, and the narcissists whose chaotic love made it all possible.”
