Amazon Prime Video recently purchased the streaming rights of Danish film ‘Another Round’. The movie will premiere on the streaming platform on 20 May.
This Danish comedy-drama won an academy award in the category of ‘Best International Feature Film’. It stars Thomas Bo Larsen, Magnus Millang, Lars Ranthe, Maria Bonnevie, Susse Wold and Hollywood actor Mads Mikkelsen.The film is directed by Danish film director Thomas Vinterberg.
The narrative follows the lives of four middle-aged friends who have lost interest in their teaching jobs. They decide to get drunk during the day to get inspired and motivated again.
The movie is originally in Danish but also available with English subtitles.
An English remake of ‘Another Round’ is reportedly under works with Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead.
