Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi return in mystery thriller ‘Chehre’, which is set to release in theatres on April 9.
Directed by Rumi Jaffery, The film will pit Bachchan against Hashmi and will reportedly release on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical release.
Bachchan was previously seen in Amazon Prime Video’s Gulabo Sitabo whereas Hashmi featured in Netflix’s Bard of Blood.
Produced by Anand Pandit, the film will also star Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza and Rhea Chakraborty amongst others.
The trailer shows Bachchan setting up a game of mock trial for Hashmi which soon turns into reality and grips the cast. An eerie setting keeps the mood in place. There are also a few instances of romance between Hashmi and D’Souza which lighten up the tension.
The platform for the release has not been confirmed yet.
