The official trailer of crime series ‘Dom’, set to stream on June 4, has been released by the Amazon Prime Video. The Brazilian original thriller in is based on a true story of a father-son duo who come to blows, battling each other from opposite sides of the law in Rio de Janeiro.

‘Dom’ centres around Pedro (played by Gabriel Leone), a teen from Rio, and follows his initial tryst with cocaine to his evolution as the leader of a notorious criminal gang, making his way into the tabloids in the early 2000s.

The story of Pedro’s father Victor Dantas (played by Flavio Tolezani) also runs parallel. He is a police intelligence officer, who has learnt his lessons regarding drug-use the hard way.

The ‘Dom’ trailer depicts how Victor, who is on a mission to cleanse the city, has a rude awakening about his plan’s pointlessness as he watches his own son transforming into the infamous gang leader — Pedro Dom.

The series has been produced under the banner of Conspiracao Filmes — one of the largest independent film production company in Brazil — and features an original soundtrack by Antonio Pinto.
