A very NSFW teaser for ‘The Boys’ has been unleashed upon the world by Amazon Prime Video. The series is based on comics of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. It was developed by Eric Kripke, Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen.
The story is set in a world where corrupt superheroes do not shy away from exploiting their fame and powers. A group of regular people/vigilantes known as “The Boys” aim to hunt down these powerful God like humans.
It is a fresh spin on the genre as superheroes finally showcase a much darker side than what the audience is used to seeing.
It is quite the opposite of the Marvel Cinematic Universe because this one is definitely not for kids. There is sex, blood, gore and audience reactions are full of thrill and shock.

The eight-episode series stars Karl Urban, Elisabeth Shue, Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford and Karen Fukuhara. It is set to premier on 26 July, 2019.
