All Emmy nominations bagged by streaming platforms

The Emmy Award nominations for 2020 were announced on July 28. Streaming platforms made a mark for themselves in the list of nominees with Netflix alone smashing an industry record with a whopping 160 nominations. This included Emmy nominations in 10 out of 11 major categories.

Aside from Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, new players in the market such as Disney+ and Apple TV+ also showed up in several categories of this year’s Emmy awards.
