Adarsh Gourav to star alongside Meryl Streep and Kit Harington in ‘Extrapolations’

According to latest reports, ‘The White Tiger’ star, Adarsh Gourav has bagged a spot in Apple TV’s upcoming series, Extrapolations. He will be sharing screen space with Meryl Streep, Kit Harington, Gemma Chan, among others.

Gourav’s breakthrough role in the 2021 Netflix film, The White Tiger gained him nominations for three major awards — BAFTA, AACTA and Independent Spirit Award. He won the ‘Rising Star’ award at the Asian World Film Festival in 2021. His important footprints include roles in the 2017 film, ‘Mom’ starring Sridevi and the critically acclaimed, ‘My Name is Khan’.

While expressing his delight regarding this role, Gourav said:

“This is beyond anything I can express, to be honest. But to be working with such an incredible team at such an early juncture of my career is truly rewarding. I’m elated to be part of this project and grateful that I will be working alongside some of the very best in the business.

“I have grown up and looked up each of my co-stars and to now be sharing screen space with them is incredible. This story is such an important one to be told for our current generation and is tied in with realities of today.”

Scott Z. Burns serves as the writer and director for ‘Extrapolations’. The eight-episode anthology series is deemed to focus on the adverse effects of climate change taking a toll on lives and launching a mutual survival spree all around the world. The brilliant ensemble cast includes — Meryl Streep, Kit Harington, Gemma Chan, Sienna Miller, David Schwimmer, Matthew Rhys, Daveed Diggs, and Tahar Rahim.

Gourav will be seen next in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey.
