Upcoming multi-starrer Don’t Look Up has recently revealed its list of cast members, that boasts of a lot of prominent actors and celebrities.

The list will include, Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Timothee Chalamet, Himesh Patel, Jonah Hill, Rob Morgan, Tomer Sisley and Matthew Perry.

In the past, Netflix has roped in many actors for their Original projects but nothing has constituted of such a cast range of actors.

Netflix recently took to Twitter to make this announcement.

The film’s plot will follow low-key astronauts who will be seen on a quest to warn the world of an upcoming danger in the form of an asteroid ready to hit the Earth. They will be seen on a media tour to make this happen.

Not just actors, the ensemble will also boast musicians Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi. Jennifer Lawrence was already on the list to star in the movie, and now a whole host of A-list names are joining her.

The film was originally scheduled to hit the streaming service in 2020, though that will no longer be the case, partly due to the effect of the coronavirus pandemic.

McKay will be responsible for writing, directing and co-producing the film along with Kevin Messick. Don’t Look Up will be produced under McKay’s Hyperobject Industries Banner.
