Amazon Prime video’s Absentia is set to return for season 3. It follows FBI agent Emily Byrne, who mysteriously disappears as she hunts a serial killer and is declared dead. Six years later, she finds herself in a wooded cottage with no recollection of her life.
In season three, with the suspension of Emily Byrne from the FBI coming to a close, a criminal case hits near her house, sending Emily on a risky path that threatens the family’s lives. The very lives that she is trying to protect.
Byrne, played by Stana Katic, appears to be lost on plans on how she should react to the new happenings around her. The latest season is believed to push all the boundaries of action for the series.
The series also stars Patrick Heusinger, Cara Theobold, Neil Jackson. All ten episodes for Absentia season 3 are now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
