Production on season 2 of the crime drama web series ‘Aarya’ has officially wrapped up after initial delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Co-creator Ram Madhvani made the announcement on Twitter. He stated: “The Journey of #Aarya2 has been tough, scary but fun! The “new normal” in life resulted in a lot of struggles as we chose to do what we are passionate about.”
He added: “But what makes it worthwhile is the team you journeyed with and I am grateful to each and every one of these passionate people. Without their dedication and work ethic, we wouldn’t have finished shooting #Aarya2 safely!”
The story follows Aarya (Sushmita Sen), as she seeks to protect her family by joining a mafia gang in order to seek revenge for her husband’s murder.
The series is directed by Madhvani, Sandeep Modi and Vinod Rawat. The cast also includes Chandrachur Singh, Namit Das, and Ankur Bhatia, among others.
