A Simple Murder: SonyLIV web series depicts comedy of errors

SonyLIV has released the trailer for its upcoming dark comedy web series titled, “A Simple Murder“.

The series features Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in the lead who plays Manish, an unfortunate common man who is driven to murder a woman for money.

The aftermath of the killing is pure chaos as Manish finds himself on the run from the deceased’s boyfriend (played by Amit Sial) and numerous other people, who are after the huge sum of money involved. Greed is a major motivating factor that entangles the characters in a bewildering chain of events.

The official logline reads:

“It all began with a coincidence leading to a dark comedy of errors!”

A Simple Murder also stars Priya Anand, Sushant Singh, Amit Sial, Yashpal Sharma, Gopal Datt, and Ayaz Khan. It has been written by Prateek Payodhi and directed by Sachin Pathak (Rangbaaz Phirse).

The series will begin streaming from November 20.
